CARP RIVER KILN
Happy spring from the Upper Peninsula. Aka… hunting for any pocket of this town that doesn’t have snow to snap an outfit pic. Not easy to do. 😆 I went out to the old Carp River Kiln, snapped a few pictures on a Friday night. Busted out my new denim trucker jacket… even though our weather isn’t entirely cooperating just yet. Read on! xo
the tulip fields in holland
One of my favorite places to visit in spring is Windmill Island. Check out the 250-year-old windmill, a carousel and costumed guides, plus a few cute Dutch-themed shops to stroll. Walk around, see the tulips, tour the windmill, grab a bite from a food vendor (typically carnival-like during Tulip Time) and just take in the beauty of spring!
spring in downtown muskegon
Spring in West Michigan can’t be beat! Take a stroll in Downtown Muskegon… grab a coffee at Aldea Coffee, check out the blooming flowers at The Monet Garden (a picturesque pocket park), see the many historic homes during the Depression Era, and grab a drink at Unruly Brewing before catching the sunset at Pere Marquette Beach.

I had to bust out my new denim trucker jacket… even though our weather isn’t entirely cooperating just yet. Anyway… read on!
